Celebrating success

Week 3 and 4 have been  busy weeks as we start our Literacy programmes. Children have been learning, creating and sharing their work in many different ways. They are learning how to be safe on Ipads and use QR codes to take them straight to websites so they can practice Maths and Reading.

On Friday we had a Mufti Day and children brought a gold coin as a donation to help Tonga. They looked amazing and some even wore their national costume.

Thank you to our children's parents for listening to their child read and helping them with their spelling words, it certainly helps them learn.

Welcome

Mrs Galletly, Charlie and Ben

Welcome to Kereru.

Mrs Redden, Mike, Becky and Emily

Mrs. Galletly, Miss Grimwood and myself (Mrs Redden), would like to welcome all of our students and their families to Term 1 at Wigram Primary School.

We are looking forward to meeting everyone at the Meet the Teacher night on Thursday 8th February.

The children have been getting to know each other and writing about their holidays and Waitangi Day.

Week 3 we will start our Literacy and Numeracy programmes so the children will be bringing home reading books.

Please come in and look at your children's work and have a walk through our learning space.

We are looking forward to a great year of learning, creating and sharing.
